Gallup のダウンタウンにあるペットに優しいモーテルで、
3 軒のレストランに隣接し、
フリー Wifi で、プライベートの入り口があり、ドアの前に車が駐められる。
Red Rock State Park へは 15 分で行ける。

1930 年に Mike Butkovich が地元の石を使って建てた建物で、
初代オーナーは Ruth & Thomas Stockard で 1931 年にオープン。
数年後に Native American と景色を描いた “Dean of the Albuquerque art colony” として知られる有名な写実主義の画家 Carl Von Hassler の巨大なフレスコ画をロビーに置いた。
1940 年代にはその良い雰囲気が人気だったが、
何度かオーナーが替わっていくうちに少し筒寂れていき、
1999 年までにはホームレスが屯する安宿となってしまった。
1999 年にホテルを “清潔、安全、格調高い” ホテルにする為のビジョンを持つ Pat & John Rosendall が購入。
彼らはホテルの改修をし、
社会保障を受けている住民の収入をレンタル料のベースにし、支払いを助けるために、
ホテル内での色々な仕事を手伝わせた。他の地域からのボランテイア達の手伝い、
資金援助で、33 部屋全ての改修、床の仕上げ、窓の置き換え、
そして寄付による歴史を象徴するネオンサインの改修がなされた。
2004 年 the Gallup Community が、
CARE 66 と呼ばれる “ホームレスをなくす為の機会を作る” 為の非営利組織を作り、
すぐに the Frances Opportunity Center と呼ばれるシェルターを Hotel 内に作った。
2009 年の春、CARE 66 が Rosendall 家からホテルを買いとり、今も非営利団体としての活動がなされている。
